At its meeting on 5th March 2010 Stapleford Town Council received a presentation from Broxtowe Borough Council regarding the Greater Nottingham Aligned Core Strategies.   

This matter is of the greatest importance to the Community and the results of this exercise will help to determine the future of the area that defines Ashfield Borough, Broxtowe Borough, Erewash Borough, Gedling Borough Nottingham City and Rushcliffe Borough Councils until 2026.

A number of public meetings (see below) are being held throughout Broxtowe Borough Council to allow for comments to be made before the end of the consultation period on 12th April 2010.  

A Public Meeting is being held at the Maycliffe Hall, Toton Lane, Stapleford on Thursday, 25th March 2010 at 7.00 p.m.  

There will be a meeting of the Town Council’s Planning and Environment Committee on Friday 26th March 2010 at 6.00 p.m. where this matter will be discussed and the Town Council’s views on this item will be recorded and sent to Broxtowe Borough Council.   This meeting is open to the general public.
