Government Appoints New Board Members For Northwest Regional Development Agency Board

Rosie Winterton, Minister for Regional Economic Coordination, today announced two new business appointments and one trade union appointment to the Board of the Northwest Regional Development Agency.
Clive Elphick, David Goldie and Frank Hont will all take up their appointments on 1 March 2010 until 13 December 2012.
Rosie Winterton said:
“The Regional Development Agencies are playing a key role in supporting businesses during the recession and are vital to driving future economic growth throughout the country. So I am delighted to announce these new appointments, which bring a huge amount of valuable experience to the Board.
“Clive, David and Frank’s knowledge and understanding of their region’s economy will be hugely beneficial as we come through the recovery and enter a new chapter of growth in the North West.”
